During my recent stay at Ambasador in Skopje, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's charming blend of comfort and culinary delight. Nestled on a quiet street yet just a ten-minute walk from the city's vibrant heart, it was an ideal base for a foodie like me. I enjoyed a simple breakfast each morning, complete with eggs, fruits, and fresh coffee-a perfect fuel for our family outings. One morning, after breakfast, I ventured just a few minutes to Cafe Bar Vinyl, a hidden gem that serves coffee that rivals my favorite spots back home in Vancouver. While the hotel's restaurant wasn't the centerpiece of my stay, I couldn't help but appreciate the convenient proximity to various dining options. I highly recommend the nearby Azafran for its unique blend of flavors. My room was clean, with a little balcony where my daughters enjoyed their snacks while I savored the scenic views. Thanks to the accommodating staff, I was able to extend my check-out time, which was convenient for my work commitments. A pleasant gastronomic discovery in Skopje.
